I was not "born again" until my mid 30s. I had virtually no religious background, so I attended "church" faithfully (3 times a week) and read on my own. I read the Scriptures from cover to cover, one chapter after the next. |

And now I realize we both heard the same message at the same time:
“Come Out of Babylon!” |
Over the course of 3 years I served as an intercessor and taught in the children's ministry. |

After Reggie's untimely death, I was watching ESPN and listening to the obligatory comments when a female reporter came on and said,
"...Reggie has not been to a "church" in 4 years, he has been questioning what he has been taught and has been on a quest to know the true name of 'God', Reggie has been taking Hebrew lessons twice a week in hopes of being able to read the 'Bible' for himself. He said you cannot trust what others tell you, you have to read and discover for yourself." |
As I read various verses it was apparent that certain concepts contradicted what was being taught and practiced in “church”. However, no one seemed concerned about it. I wrote letters/papers pointing out what I saw. I talked to leadership but tradition for some is evidently more important than the Truth--- so I left. I attended some Messianic assemblies but the ones I found were basically "christian" houses in Hebrew clothing. Since then I have been studying on my own and sharing with my family.

That quote re-energized me. After years of talking to people who would rather be "right" as opposed to knowing the truth, frankly, I had burned out. I had my fill of debating on forums to sheeple that parrot what they have been taught but never read/think for themselves. Anyway, after realizing that Reggie heard the same call at the same time I did (2000), I eventually started on this site.
